Hypericum revolutum | Curry-bush for sale | Kerriebos te koop
Curry-bush (Kerriebos) is a small, evergreen tree with a multi-stem, compact, shrub-like growth form. Its roots are non-invasive. The species has rather small, bright green leaves and bears bright yellow flowers, often in abundance. Hypericum revolutum is an easy grower, but is somewhat frost sensitive (does not tolerate temperatures below -2C) The species give a faint smell of curry, especially when in flower.
A few gardening ideas:
Plant Curry-bush to screen an unsightly wall, or as a low (no more than 3m) screening tree. Its compact growth form and and abundance of flowers may also serve as a focal point in the garden, alternatively as a color/leaf contrast. We have no experience relating to planting this species in a pot, but expect that it will not do well.
