Combretum molle | Velvet bushwillow tree for sale | Fluweelboswilg
Velvet bushwillow withstands moderate frost and is somewhat drought resistant. It is deciduous and grows at a medium rate. Its leaves are covered with soft hairs, which gives them a velvety appearance and touch. Combretum molle has a compact growth form. Its root system is non-aggressive and mature trees are small to medium in size. Velvet bushwillow is a good candidate for the smaller garden. It responds well to pruning and does well in a container. It is one of the most beautiful Combretums and an undiscovered jewel.
