Pambati-tree (Pambatieboom) is a small, evergreen tree with a shrub-like growth form. It is often multi stemmed. The species responds well to pruning and can easily be shaped into a single stem specimen. Anastrabe integerrima has long, narrow-elliptic leaves, bright green above and paler below, with a brownish tint. Pambati-tree is quite hardy (up to -4 degree Celsius), grows medium/fast, and is anchors with a non-evasive root system. It bears bi-sexual, yellow, fragrant flowers and offers a long flowering season.

Pambati-tree is a no-nonsense, easy grower. Its hardiness, two-side leaf colors and long flowering season make this tree a good choice for a small garden. Use it for screening up to 3m, or as a focal point. We have no experience relating to planting Anastrabe integerrima in a large pot, but expect that it will do well.
